Company Profile
Digital Media Group, Ltd. was established by David M. Geshwind as
an umbrella for his research, consulting, production and other activities in Media
Technology Development. DMG has a number of projects carefully designed to
meet demonstrated public desires, yet based on existing hardware and software
infrastructure. Thus, with modest development efforts and relatively small amounts
of funds at risk, substantial market share and profits are possible. Digital Media
Group currently seeks investors, strategic partners and/or licensees to exploit
technologies that are patented, patent pending or proprietary to the company.
These are in various areas of Media Technology including: Computer Graphics and
Image Processing; Virtual Reality and Stereoscopic Imaging; Digital Video
Compression; FAX Networking; and several advanced Internet Technologies.
President - David M. Geshwind holds a BS in Bio-Medical Engineering
from RPI and a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications from the
Institute of Film and Television, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. He is studying
Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology and Instructional Media in a Doctoral
Program at Columbia University. Mr. Geshwind held Senior Research Scientist
positions at the Computer Graphics Laboratory of NYIT, and the NYU Center for
Digital Multimedia. He established the Computer Graphics Teaching Laboratory
at the FIT and has taught, published and lectured extensively in the US, Europe
and Japan. His Computer Graphics artworks have been exhibited worldwide.
Corporate Counsel - Anne C. Avellone holds a BS in Engineering
Science from the University of Virginia and a JD from Fordham Law School. She
specializes in Intellectual Property Law and Technology/ Legal issues, particularly
those relating to computers, imaging technologies, and the Internet. Ms. Avellone
manages DMG's licensing and patent, copyright and trademark portfolio. She is
also a licensed pilot.
