 ABSTRACT

         Several patents are pending which disclose enhanced user-interface technologies for use with computer/communication networks such as the Internet. These include: advanced protocol technology that improves performance for end-users operating over a relatively low-bandwidth communication line, such as from a PC via a modem; an improved navigational aid in the form of a new graphic interface; and, the integration of FAX machines into the Internet.
