PATENT PENDINGTECHNOLOGY

FAX Networking and Security

 ABSTRACT

Since the introduction of PC FAX/modem cards and FAX servers, many aspects of FAX communication have been automated. However, the automatic routing of inbound FAX transmissions to a particular end-user is still a commercially unsolved problem. A pending patent discloses how machine-readable graphics (such as barcodes) may be employed to route such transmissions for the rapid, secure and unattended delivery of FAX transmissions over a network.
An additional patent application discloses a technique for FAX encryption that permits the secure transmission and storage of FAX messages via computer or hard copy.
Because of the patent-pending nature of this technology, details cannot be disclosed publicly. However, confidential disclosure may be made to interested parties.
